Membership

Prospective members must be proposed for the Neurosurgical Society of America (NSA) by an existing NSA Member.

In addition, prospective members must:

• Attend at least one annual meeting prior to proposal for membership
• Attend three meetings and present at least one paper at a meeting before being voted on for membership
• Be under age 49 at time of initial proposal
• Have one proposer and two sponsors (active or senior members) for a total of three letters of recommendation
• Be ABNS certified or equivalent (e.g. FRCS)

The process for membership application includes submission of the application form, a digital photo, and a curriculum vitae to the Membership Committee Chair.
